Hello.. i read "Mrs Ed's" question about her bee which ended up being a yellow jacket.

I do not know what kind of bees i have.. But i have a heap of them.
I will try to get a photo.

but maybe their habitat will help identify them.. I do not think they sting, but they buzz my ears and all around me when i get near their nest which is in my deck..an open deck on the back of my apartment, where the downspout goes into the ground,going through the cement.. There is a hole there between the spout and the cement where they fly in.. seems like a strange place for a nest of bees to me because it is so low down..

any ideas?
