I added the Cross-lined Wave moth in genus Calothysanis, and it appears to have a number of synonyms. There doesn't seem to be any provision for adding synonyms now, so maybe you can determine what is correct? (Or at least the more accepted name)
I don't know if this applies to the other Timandra moth already in BugFiles.
Thanks,
Mike

synonyms: Timandra and Calothysanis
Mike, adding synonyms is on Dave's to-do list, I just reminded him when another case arose recently.
I am maintaining a list of important synonyms that I have noticed and have added yours to the list and when the provision is made, I will add the synonym to the species.
As far as I can tell, Calothysanis amaturaria is the current name. It is at least the commoner one on the net, with 255 hits compared with 50 for Timandra amaturaria!
As to the other Timandra in BugFiles, I found it harder to decide, but there does seem to be a synonym in the genus Calothysanis. Calothysanis amata seems to be a synonym for Timandra comae, but the name Timandra comae seems to be so much more common that I shall not bother to add it to my synonyms list for the present,
Ken
Okay, thanks. How complicated!
Mike
