How many threads are you watching?

Coast range of, OR(Zone 8b)

I just found out that you can get a full list of all the threads you are "watching". I have 470 and was wondering how this stacks up.

How many are you watching?

Victoria Harbour, ON

I don't dare check it out...I have an entire day at work here to fill in so I go from thread to thread, sometimes participating, sometimes just reading and catching up with posts that DG friends have made...

scio, oregon, OR(Zone 8a)

I'm at 333.

I also realised you can delete some or "un-watch" them. I've removed 10 that hadn't been updated since 2006. Have you unwatched any?

Bettypauze - that cracks me up - reading them at work. When do you work? (she said from work...)

I'm up to--get this

1041 threads. LOL how did that happen?I think I also asked this question last year. It's probably still one of my watched threads, if I did.

Yup- here it is!

Phew- I just blasted away a whole bunch of mine, I tend to look at Plant and Tree ID and then watch them to see what the ID turns out to be. So now I'm probably down to,,
oh, say
978 or so, HA!

It was hard for me to decide which ones to not watch anymore. Ya just never know when someone might add something good.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

true- you shouldn't rush to unwatch, esp if you started it yourself.

Victoria Harbour, ON

Got2BeGreen...I probably only work about 1 hr out of 8 hr day in family business..I do consulting on a need to be basis but get paid to be there 5 days a week..the rest of my day, I've a t.v./vcr, craft projects, books, DG to occupy my time...so always floating around...

Great way to make a living..when I am needed, I earn my pay! Just long days to fill...

Man I have been here a long time - I am watching 1,561.

I find it an easy way to search back in time for something I need, I just go to threads I am watching and then to the particular forum and narrow it down.

Okay, I'm up to 781. This will be 782. I don't stop watching any of them unless they start to get onto topics that are uninteresting to me. I've had people, especially new DGers, pop up quite a bit later. It's fun to see what the new comments will bring.

I've had the same experience kwanjin, folks sometimes go all the way back to the beginning of DG and it is nice to see those old forums rejuvenated.

(Zone 7a)

I did when I started. I started adding stuff before I saw how old they were. LOL

Coast range of, OR(Zone 8b)

I don't think I've unwatched any that I've started. I guess there is a way to look up the thread you start also.

(Zone 7a)

Go to MY Info, then scroll down to Actions. You'll see your threads you started.

Thanks!

Yes, I'm stalking you again, Got2B! What can I say, I'm bored! ;o)

I am watching 5047 threads. I rarely unwatch threads...can you tell? LOL

Coast range of, OR(Zone 8b)

WOW!

I think you are our front-runner!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

^_^

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL I don't know how many I have, all I know is I can't keep up with them, and it's not that many I don't think, sad I know.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Well I like opening DG and having updated threads, it s like mail in your mailbox.

(Zone 7a)

I'm up to 799 now. Shesh!

Fayetteville, AR(Zone 7b)

LOL I've got a whopping 58! I don't know how ya'll do it, I can't keep up with those!

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Well, not all of the threads come up everyday. Only the ones that someone has posted to recently. When I get up in the mornings I usually have 20 - 25 threads that have new posts on them.

Gainesville, FL(Zone 9a)

I keep it to under 50. I do scroll down and see what the latest post are tho, just to try to keep up with things. Im afraid Im a major thread unwatcher. Once the thread turns to chat, which I am the biggest offender of doing, I usually stop watching it, unless I want to chat too lol.
