I received it last year in a bulb swap. I have communicated with the person it came from. He does not know/remember what it is. There were no bulbils, (it bloomed here in Detroit in July), so I guess it is not a lancifolium / tigrinum. I have other photos if they would help identify it.

That is one pretty lily whoever it is!!
Kinda reminds me of Asiatic Lily 'Red Velvet'. There are a few pictures here on Daves.
