How and when to harvest Torenia seeds?

My plant is chock-full of seedpods, but they are still green. I figure it's too soon to harvest them, but I don't want to miss that "window of opportunity". Anyone familiar with saving seed from these plants? Thanks!!!!!

Vols
I usually wait till the pod turns a golden color, but don't wait too long or it will burst open. The seeds are tiny.
