When I was cropping the image of a hover fly (Mesembrina meridiana) I discovered these funny looking really tiny fly creatures. First I thought it was only a single just weird looking one until I discovered two pairs of eyes...What could they be?

I'm on an old computer at the moment (the other has frozen!) so the pics don't show very well, but it looks like a mating pair of Yellow Swarming Flies. I got pics of a mating pair, lol, not easy as they are so small. There's more than one species but I have one in the BugFiles which may help.

Thank you Suunto, Thaumatomyia notata really looks like mine and is the same like Wallabys.
I hope I'll meet one again to take a better picture of..

Still frozen today! Windows did a file check after switching off and on again yesterday saying there were some inconsistencies in the files, it loads but still frozen. A notice comes up from Norton Antivirus saying there's files missing so it can't check Instant Messaging downloads, giving a link to go to their site. I don't use IM anyway, but I can't go to their site without being able to use the arrow! Can't do anything when it does this! Can't use Safe Mode to look around either, that doesn't work. TOTAL FREEZE UP GRRRRRRR!!

Lol, I am lost without it, nearly pulling my hair out, can't download pics either. I think this might be a problem with Dell computers, someone else I spoke to some time ago had the same thing.

The old one I'm using won't be usable soon as a back up either, AOL has a notice saying they will be servicing only XP and Vista, this is Win95 with very little memory.

That's too bad! Feel sorry you have to go through all this unsettling stuff again!
I also feel frustrated as my camera has a defect once again GGRRRR...
