CLOSED: On cucumber part of the cucumber or bug eggs?

I've never grown cucumbers before -- are these green things normal spikey development of a cucumber, or are they bug eggs or ??

Thanks -- just got a response from someone on the veggie board saying that it's a female cucumber which, if pollinated, will become my first cucumber!!
