I don't think it's a wasp as the waist is not wasp-like..
What genus could this one belong too?

This is a sawfly (Hymenotptera: Tenthredinidae); apparently in the genus Tenthredo - see http://micropics.org.uk/Tenthredinidae/Tenthredo/arcuata/female/tenthredo%20arcuata.htm

I would think Tenthredo arcuata, but there are some look-a -likes so I'll call it a Tenthredo sp. for safety.
