I found this on the window just outside of the grand tetons! I hadnt ever seen one like it so i snapped a few pics but the quality is poor :(

Sorry tap, I keep looking at it and it's too blurry to make out. It looks sort of like a Sphinx moth, but I can't tell which one.
Try googling Sphinxes and se if you see it, the BugFiles has some good pics of them too.
I hadnt ever seen one with wings like this one has. and such a big head for such small wings.
I suspect that this more likely is a Noctuid or possibly a Notodontid, but a clearer photo is necessary.

That's a beauty! The pic looked like it had a lot of pink, maybe not?
