CLOSED: What kind of spider is this??
This is an orb-weaving spider in the family Araneidae; see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/85232336
Regardless of its specific identity, all orb weavers are harmless to humans. Just FYI, nearly all spiders (there are a few rare exceptions, such as those in the family Uloboridae - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uloboridae) are venomous, that's how they subdue their prey - but only a few, such as the widow and recluse spiders, are really dangerous to humans.
Oh ok. Gotcha, thanks alot for this!
