I found it feeding on Silidago growing in a protected nature reserve in Gent... There was only one so probably a solitary bee..

It's a honey bee, Apis mellifera. They are variable in colour as there has been many subspecies interbreeding, it's near impossible to separate them now. I have seen (and taken pics of!) two different ones, one is nearly all brown.
