Bracken's Brown Beauty Magnolia

Does anyone have "Bracken's Brown Beauty" magnolias in their garden? I have seen one in my area (North Texas) but the plant was planted relatively recently. I read different things about how large they may grow. Could anyone who knows this tree advise me about that, and also tell me if the tree keeps a nice pyramidal shape naturally? I have been told they take well to trimming, etc., but I wondered how they look when left natural. thanks!!

I have a twenty-foot BBB performing beautifully here in St Louis.
Mine is a nice full pyramidal tree without any pruning.
Blooms abundantly and the scent is magnificent.
The only practical problem in my area is some breakage of small branches from snow or ice storms.
I don't have a picture of the whole tree, but here's a shot of a flower recently.

I bought it as a B&B about 10 years ago.
I think it was maybe 7ft tall when I got it? I don't remember for sure.
I know I brought it home in the trunk (OK, hanging out of the trunk) of my car,
so it couldn't have been too huge.

thanks again, Weerobin. It's good to know that, about the rate of growth. I had read that they can get as tall as 50 feet.

I suspect it might grow taller in your zone, but I'd be surprised to be 50ft. Yikes!
It's a beautiful tree whatever the final height is.
