Anyone disagrees?
I found this gruesome scenery happening on a leaf of an oak seedling..
After it noticed my presence it took off with prey and all, so must be strong!

Probably a male as it is more goldish in colour;

CLOSED: A deadly embrace of Scathophaga stercoraria ?
Sure looks like one (see http://popgen.unimaas.nl/~jlindsey/commanster/Insects/Flies/WFlies/Scathophaga.stercoraria.html), but I am not all that familiar with other species in that genus.
Thank you Suunto! I did a further search and only found two species in this genus in Belgium, that second didn't match so I can mark it as solved...
Thank you!
