I purchased a black beauty in the spring of 2007 and planted it in a large wooden barrel so it could have some time to acclimate. I moved this barrel to Virginia in February as I had a new job and had to move north. I have not planted it in my yard yet but there are some white spots on some of the leaves - it's still in the barrel - is it getting too much or too little of something or do I just need to prune it back hard once I have it planted? Any suggestions appreciated, Sue

Can you post a picture? Could be sunburn, fungus, maybe insects, hard to say without a picture.
