CLOSED: Black and white striped 6 leg flying insect

This landed on the railing of a bridge a friend and I were sitting on. No more than an inch and a half in length, probably a little less.

It's a Banded Alder Borer Rosalia funebris, a beetle in the family Cerambycidae
