How to germimate Nutmeg ?

I can't seem to find any information on growing nutmeg from seed or if I can even grow them in my zone.

Flowerpower, This may give you a bit of information, I learned someting today too just reading this, a 70 ft tree, needs male and female trees to produce nutmeg seeds and will take 7 to 9 years to get to that stage.

I had a lady bring me some fresh nutmeg from Granada (?) or some island. I was amazed at how wonderful it was fresh. She said that they grow it on trees and process/dry them for months before they are ready.
