I found this handsome female grasshopper (fam; Tettigoniidae) among wild vegetation with many tall grasses near a small lake (quite humid).
She has amazingly long antennae and red 'knees'
I couldn't find an exact match on the web nor in my insect books..
another picture of its body, I didn't manage to get a clear dorsal view, as she was playing hide and seek with me as soon as she noticed my presence; whenever I carefully moved to the right or the left she turned around the stalk, avoiding to let me see her back.
Got it's Id through a local Nature Forum.
It is Conocephalus discolor, a quite common specie in my area..
