Can anyone get me started in the right direction? I need help with these three bugs. Bug #1
CLOSED: I could use some direction.
This is a long-horned wood-boring beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae), one of the so-called ‘flower longhorns in the subfamily Lepturinae. It appears to be in the genus Typocerus - see http://i.pbase.com/g6/65/431565/2/83734883.AwxhtoGd.jpg
I couldn't us the link you gave me but Thanks for the ID on the beetle.
That's odd - I just tried that link and it worked for me. Try clicking on http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/image/31461047 and see if it works - it's a Typocerus velutinus and it looks a lot like your specimen.
It did work and thank you once again. Yes that is the beetle. :)
