Can anyone help me identify this small moth? They were all over the echinacea flowers today. I couldn't get a shot of one with the wings open. They are less than an inch. I live in western New York state. Any help will be appreciated!

They're Skippers, not moths, and in their own family (Hesperiidae) different from other butterflies...
Leonard's skipper, Crossline skipper, Dusted, pepper and salt, etc., are possibilities in your area:
