Blooming in Arcata, CA, named after the creator of Star Gazer. Can anyone recommend a Oriental-Trumpet (Orienpet) that I can purchase to cross with this lily?

P.S. Only other Orienpet I have is Black Beauty and I have tried last year to cross and it did not take. Also read that its sterile.

I don't think Leslie Woodriff is very fertile. I have never got seed from it nor had success with its pollen. I have also read that it is not fertile. Sarabande is a good look-alike and I have heard it is reputed to be fertile. I am trying it on a few lilies this year and and have done a couple of pollinations on it. Time will tell...

I have purchased OT seeds from lilyseeds.com and the NALS seed exchange which sells to non-members usually in May. Unfortunately by that time the OT seed is picked over or sold out to members and donors.
