Blooming Today

My new Hige, that looks like a Hige version of Jamie Lynn is blooming again, today. I am anxious to get a bit farther into the season, so I have constant blooms, rather than one on one day, and the next one a few days later!

I really like this one.

My all white Hige is blooming today, too.

And, it looks like I may have another flower, tomorrow!

GORGEOUS ! ! !

For Sure I would love some of your seeds. I would also like to cross this one with my Hige Jamie Lynn.

Are you growing the white Hige this year? I think I sent you some seeds of it last fall. I'm just curious as to how it is doing for everyone else. I will definitely save you some seeds of this other Hige. It was just labelled as "White Bearded", which Ron had explained to me at some point that Bearded = Hige. Though the all white Hige the same person had labelled as "Split White".

These things really are fascinating, aren't they!!

Deb -

Yes, you did send me seeds of your White. I almost started them but decided not to grow them this year. In fact, I have only started three different Higes this year. I also have some others growing that were 'volunteers' this year from my Hige Mix that I grew last year.

AND,
Ron, listen to this. . .

The Higes that I over-wintered are growing like crazy and some are starting to bloom. I think I had 6 maybe 7 vines that survived the winter. They were growing in pots [obviously to over-winter], and they are now in the ground as of two weeks ago. I can't wait to see if they bloom just a few, or if they break out in full bloom for me.
