Lily Question

I know it is a little early, but when or before winter gets here, do you cut the Lily stalks to the ground before the freeze, or do you let them freeze down naturally?

Lilies will die back naturally, some will start earlier than others. I cut them as they as they start to turn brown leaving about 3" of the stem so I know where to expect them the following year, but that's just my preference.

I also wait until they die down naturally before I cut them.
