This fluffy beauty I found feeding on Lotus uliginosus, there was a small community of about 10 of them. The location a damp verge of wild vegetation near a small lake

That's correct, I've had a new lot around for a while now on the species Campanula. Yours is the female worker, I also have the males which always prefer white clover. They seem to look at you!
