Rankin, IL(Zone 5a)

I have waxworms in my fridge, Edmund loves 'em!

Lodi, United States

When my son was in Jr High, he had a friend whose father was trying to start a business selling fried meal worms as snack food. Brought them to school for all the kids to try. My DS saved a handful for me! They were crispy and salty on the outside and-- disgusting and creamy-mushy on the inside. I ate two--couldn't lose face with my son.

So, who. Patchouli, is Edmund?

Foley, MO

LMAO, hahahaha! Um.....my.................Water Dragon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL ; ) Hey, my older sis is from Korea, and they eat fried bugs as a delicacy. I've been told certain bugs are YUMMY.

Lodi, United States

Well meal worms are not among the yummy ones--the best you can say about them is they are bland (I am so ashamed that I know this).

People can be very diverse in their tastes--but if Edmund ever invites you to dinner--don't go. Suggest a nice movie or walk in the park instead.

Edmund IS quite charming : )

I do believe the word NOT is in their loud and clear..

Fritch, TX(Zone 6b)

fran you silly thing, would you PLEASE make up your mind?

patchouli, does edmund prefer ducks? keets? laying hens? i bet he likes a good egg now and then LOL...

Lodi, United States

Given that tf's beloved Buckeyes eat rats and frogs, it might be best to keep Edmund away from chickens--probably keets and ducks as well. Maybe a nice salamander--that is Patchouli, if you really aren't interested in him yourself?

Actually I'm really interested in a Green Basilisk ; P

londonderry, Australia

isnt that a mythical creature or is there a type of chicken called that

Lodi, United States

It's a lizard. Patchouli is looking for the perfect reptile to take her out for an evening's entertainment-- a lounge lizard with a black silk smoking jacket and white cravat. But no good will come of it. He'll break her heart and leave her with a pile of empty meal worm pupal cases.

ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been found out! He was charming, had a great smile, and loved a good cigar and a smooth drink, I loved the way he rolled the poker chips around his fingers down his spiny sail to the tip of his tail, I was a sucker for his confidence. It would be my undoing.......

Lodi, United States

I knew it.

Oh my gosh....you all are tooo much! I was laughing so hard that my DS said what, what? Did tamara faye say something funny? Who said something funny? LOL

You know, different strokes for different folks and all of that, but BLAAAAGGGHHH ! You will not ever, ever find me outside holding a bowl under the BUCKET collecting it's offerings so that I can then bring them in the house and fry them up as a tasty meal. Ooohhhh, turning green....gonna be sick.......now that would never do, might confuse the poor flies as to where to lay their babies. Ok, too twisted.....making a quick retreat.......
