I was just bemoaning the fact that I hadn't had any of my MG's bloom, yet, and this morning I went out to find this. This is from seed from the same woman I got the White Hige I posted pictures of last year. That one came from her labelled as "Split White", this one was called "White Bearded". These flowers a bit more of a creamy white, rather than the bright white of last years, and is pale pink at the base. I hope this one is a prolific bloomer as the season goes on, like last years Hige.

My New Hige
They really are pretty and the leaves look really healthy too!!
They look like wedding flowers! :-) Very pretty!!! Great photos, too!
Very pretty Deb. Love the white and pink combo.
pretty flower!
Well, if this one is as prolific as the Hige I grew last year, I will have more than enough seeds to share. I really love this one!
Deb
Emma, Jamie Lynn is incredibly lovely. She's special in every way.
This one is just beautiful!
I didn't realize that Jamie Lynn was a Hige. The flowers on mine so far have just had the slightest hint of pink at the very base of the flower, and primarily on the outer really shredded looking petals.
If you have seeds to share, I would gladly trade some of mine for some of yours this fall.

Deb & Emma - A beautiful hige vines! Outstanding blooms! :-)
Thanks all . . .
Deb, I’m happy to share seeds of my HIGE Jamie Lynn with you.
And, yes, there is a ‘Regular Jamie Lynn’ as well. The HIGE Jamie Lynn is the result of a cross with the ‘Regular Jamie Lynn’.
This is what I can tell you about ‘Jamie Lynn’ and Ron may also be able to correct me and/or add to this information:
Jamie Lynn is a result of seeds that I 'Isolated' and grew separately from a RARE Morning Glory species with no name that produced many Different Variations and Pastel Colors of Extremely Pale Pink, Pale Blue, and White that were either Solid Colored or had Speckled & Flecked-Type Blooms, much like the 'Flaked' Morning Glories. All of the seeds that I have grown since 2005 of Jamie Lynn have continued to produce this Stunning Solid Bluish-White Morning Glory with a Soft Pastel Pink Halo and Sometimes Partial Star.
There is also a JMG with the name ‘AoMurasakiJoHantenShibori’ and the only difference I see is that this JMG has a few small flecks but has the same colors of Jamie Lynn.
I have no idea where the ‘AoMurasakiJoHantenShibori’ originated or when.
I will also add that I have sent MANY seeds of the ‘Regular Jamie Lynn’ to several people IN JAPAN.

Here is photo of the ‘Regular Jamie Lynn’
soooo pretty!
Thanks gessiegail . . .
Jamie Lynn is still one of my very favorite MGs.
Emma
I have more blooms this morning, and they do look like even more like your Jamie Lynn Hige. Maybe these seeds did come from something you traded toJapan. Wouldn't that be a coincidence!! I still wish I had the name of the woman I got them from. I had it on my old computer, and I lost all that information when it crashed. The seed envelopes are marked 2002, so it would have been a while ago. I've had 100% germination on those seeds, though, even though they are now 6 years old.
I'll post a few more pictures when I get home from work.
