CLOSED: What is the name of this bug?

Toronto, Canada

Hi I took some photos of this bug on the bike trail. I want to add some tags to the photo to make it easier to find in the future but I don't know what the name of the bug is. Can one of you please tell me the name. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Anthony

Looks like Rhagonycha fulva, but the antennae on yours are a little different,

Notes on bug-guide state it is well established in British Columbia and Quebec,

Look at the 'See Also' bit lower down.

The black-tipped elytra, or wing cases, are the main ID feature of R. fulva and yours has that, the antennae might be a variable or age thing.

Here's one of mine two days ago.
