Not a very cheerful topic header, is it?
I've been tracking an Australian Permaculture forum and this is one of the topics. I like to look at opinions from outside of the US; I find the viewpoint is often very interesting. And this is a incredibly important topic, especially after revelations last week that the information that effect climate change will have on human health was suppressed.
So, anywho - it's not a cheery discussion, but I'd be interested in what you all think about it. Are we doomed? Has the current oil prices kicked enough of us into realizing that our behaviour has to change, and that we really can't go on like we have? Will enough of us listen to make a difference?
Warning: this forum is not politically aligned with our current administration or the past Aussie administration, so read at your own risk.
