I need help. I have a potted tibouchina that's doing great, but don't know how to winter it. I know it's still summer, but if summer comes can winter be far behind! Thanks for anything.

noticing your name, i rescued a kitten from the sure death the other day, and big meanie said i couldnt keep it, do you have room for one more??????
Hi neighbor. Wish I could take your kitten, but I have a big meanie here too. He says one at a time is enuf. With all our rain I have been reluctant to put my tibouchina in the ground. Thanks
Could you put it in a raised bed with a layer of gravel in the bottom for drainage? I'm not a Mississippi gardener, but would assume drainage is drainage.
Thanks Gardenwife--I'll try that for several things I was reluctant to plant. It's been so rainy here, and my lot has retained a lot of it!
Give it a couple of weeks. Soon enough, well be out of the rainy season, and it will be bone dry again. welcome to the south : )
