I am at a lull, bird wise. My third nesting is due to hatch next week and the parents have chased the last fledglings away, so there's not much going on. I was rummaging through some shots from back in the winter, when the birds look so much better, so I will begin with some of them.

Beautiful. Love the shot with the translucent wings.

OK Those I loaded from my mother in law's PC up in Baltimore. After I loaded 14, it simply would not let me load anymore. Most frustrating.

This is a juvenile female, about 100 days old, and almost finished with her moult.

This one is similar to number two, above, but better,IMO.

They look so clean just after they moult.
