Popular English name is backswimmer.
Since my fishes are gone from my pond (I suspect a heron), the water got crystal clear and interesting water bugs that probably didn't make a chance when they were still there are making their appearance. This one I fished out and temporarily put in a glass salad bowl to have a better chance to make its picture.
I only found a Belgian site for it:

It swims upside down and backwards;

No objections, so I'll mark this as solved..
bonitin...wonderful pictures! These are so fast, it's difficult to get a good look at them under the best of circumstances. What a great thought to put it in the bowl!
