I was kinda surprised but delighted when one of my Sinocalycanthus bloomed with blossoms that are tinged in pink. Most of the others are white/cream. The only thing is the blooms are a bit smaller. I wonder if it is crossed with Calycanthus.
Sinocalycanthus
Boy, that looks like a keeper.
Sinocalycanthus doesn't have the nice scent of calycanthus, does it?
Does it sucker as rampantly?
I couldn't smell a scent from the blooms but I don't have that good of smell. I think it can sucker as it gets larger but mine are still smaller plants.
