CLOSED: Is this a moth?

Van Etten, NY(Zone 5a)

It is about an inch long and was hanging upside down working on chickweed flowers. The underside is a striking blue and there is orange on the head. Does anyone know what it is?

I agree, it is Ctenucha virginica. We have a page for it in BugFiles here: http://davesgarden.com/guides/bf/go/1374/
and would be pleased if you would add your images,
