Suddenly it was there on my knee when I looked up from the book I was reading, it was an insect book by the way, lol!
It's quite large, larger than the green shield bug, something like 1.5 cm..
The colour dark gray-black-brown with very subtle patterns, not easy to photograph specially in this dull weather over here.
It was very docile and let me put it on some plants I thought would let it come out the best..
CLOSED: don't manage to find the Id of this Shield bug..

Thanks wallaby! The Garden Safari site was one of the ones I checked, but I probably have been fooled by its variability.
Strange though that I never noticed how they got their bad reputation of being 'stink bugs'..
The antennae are the give away on this one.
