Having tree problems...

South West, LA(Zone 9a)

Im trying to find out what is wrong with my trees.
This is Sawtooth Oak (Quercus acutissima)
The new growth looks healthy but the top of the older leaves are rusty brown. There has been no leaf drop.

This is a River birch (Betula nigra)
This is one of 10 that I have and it is the only one with this problem.

Last one! Black willow (Salix nigra)

The Sawtooth Oak looks like it might have been hit by herbicide drift (e.g. lawn "weed'n'feed").

The birch and the willow both have galls caused by Eriophyes gall mites (tho' a different species of Eriophyes in each case) - pretty much harmless, they don't do any significant harm.

Thank you so much for the info! The herbicide is very possible I will have to have a talk with DH!
