I started Heavenly Blue from seeds and thought I'd see some flowers by now, what do the experts have to say :>)

Christine - I'm no expert, but I didn't start getting blooms on my HB's until they were about 4'.

Christine - You vine is lush and beautiful! :-)

If you haven't already done so, you might try fertilizing them with Bloom Booster (by MiracleGro). It seems to really kick-start the blooms on my vines!

Christine, I'm down here in Philadelphia and I usually see most of the HB blooming best towards the end of the summer. I would give it a few more weeks for your best blooms. Always one of my favorites in the summer when some things are dying down!!

Thanks for your advice, I feel better now :>)

Heavenly Blue was one of my first ever vines to grow. You will pass out at the intense blue with yellowish tube...it will look dyno-mite against that nice white trellis!

How beautiful!!! I have heard when the vine is in full bloom that it is breath-takingly gorgeous!

Go up to the sticky thread and there is detailed information about seed collecting! I don't know how well it self-pollinates. Maybe someone else here will. Enjoy your beautiful new vine!

The seedpods will eventually turn a crispy brown and that is when the seeds are fully ripened...
