Oh, I can't wait until mine blooms.....it is new to me also. Beautiful!!!!!!!

Very nice! But it looks like a martagon, marhan, Backhouse or similar. Short stamens, whitish reverse, pinkish buds, very fine dots on the petal tips, petal tips not completely reflexed . . . looks a lot like Mrs. R. O. Backhouse... not that I know squat about marts but they do look distinctly different from any other lily I have seen.

Do you have a picture of the foliage galanthophile?

The foliage looks exactly like martagons. Apologies for the snail damage - they are munching on a hosta nearby! It's a lovely lily and I'm pleased with it. I have a couple of new ones to come including a Bellingham and Backhouse hybrid.

looks like pardalinum got it right. My leichtlini has totally different foliage, I was also looking up photos and it doesn't look right for leichtlini. When I was first looking at it I was thinking 'that looks a lot like one of my marties' but knowing nothing about the l.leichtlinis................

I must have the label wrong. Thanks

That is a whole lot better than getting the wrong lily!
