Amy brought lots of goodies!
SOME PICTURES FROM THE RU
There is nothing like sharing plants that were grown with love with other gardeners who will love them as well... sappy (says DH) but true.
I'm about to fall asleep - thank you once again, Kassia, for being so generous and for organizing and hosting this whole extravaganza! It was the social event of the spring!
Oh my goodness.....I had a wonderful time! It was worth my butt going numb!! Round trip it was 439 miles....not bad. Map Quest or whatever one we used is wrong...they said it would be 412, but they don't know a portion of 295 in Maine is under construction.
I'd still do it again next Sat. if I could!! ^_^
I feel blessed to have been able to meet each and everyone of you! Thank you all and YOU Kassia for your beautiful heart and generosity

My pleasure... for real it is the social event of the spring!!!
holy cow! poor you Celeste!!!! so glad you came... oh no idea how good it was to see you!!!!
Same here Kassia..It was so nice to finally see all those beautiful roses, Lily, the Turtles and your Mom and Sister were so nice to me.
Tell Victor to be careful on the monkey bars..2 rungs are broken and I don't want him to fall and get hurt!
Celeste - Victor is such a goof... Debi came back with her 2 daughters later on and Victor followed one ot the girls ! he was showing off...
Ha ha ha...he's all boy!
It's great to put some faces to names. It looks like you all had a great time!
Awww these photo's are so wonderful and I am so glad you folks posted them!! First off it really make the rest of us (who can't make these events) feel part of it all! Very heart warming! And secondly yes it is great to put a face to the name!......It feels soooooooooo good to be part of something so great and so special.
I already know Dave47 somewhat - he is a great guy and has really helped me though some difficult time through a bit of chit chat and counselling....He offered his help and time in MY time of need out of his own good will (oh and he never charged me!) never would have gotten through some of the roughest times of my life without him! Oh and I have to say I am sorry I haven't been in contact recently but that is only because things are much improved and we have been extremly busy!!! Dave just looks like the kinda person you can call dad - don't you agree? Maybe not if you are older than he is but sorry Dave I think you are old enough to be my dad LOL LOL LOL I do appreciate you and I need to stay in touch!!!
Seandor - thank you for inquiring about me - it really touches me to think others do think of me if I am not around as often. It is so wonderful to know I am thought of even if I am not around as much. The sad thing is my membership is up soon - not sure at this time if I can renew. I would love to but there are other things to consider as well....
Ok I know Victor and Pirl weren't at the meeting but another great 2 people I have met on this board who I consider great pals and internet companions.
DonS is great for his poems and truly makes me laugh when I need to laugh.
Gosh then there are others like pixie, grams, gran and soooooooo many others (sorry if I didn't mention you) who have given me such great information and have been so friendly to me in the last couple of years.
I "love" seeing the photo's and thanks for making the rest of us feel part of it. You are truly a great group of people and it has been my pleasure knowing you all!!!!!

......need..... coffee...... now
Now I know why I love you guys and gals. Who else would take home armfuls of plants, after saying "but, we don't have any more room for plants"?
Chuck, your wife is a cutie, and she looks like she fit right in with the rest of the 'family'.
Pixie, it's so nice to see a photo of you. You look just the way I thought you would!!
Kassia ~ I bet you are tired today, and yet you are headed off to a rose show! You go girl! Your energy and your love of gardening is boundless! What a sweetie you are for hosting such a huge round up for everyone.
I loved looking at the photos of all the plant offerings! My! But there must have been hundreds of them to choose from!!
It looks like a good day for planting today, as the skies are overcast. I wish only the best for all the new babies going into the ground today. I hope everyone will post photos of their treasures.
We had a wonderful time at our first Round UP...So many nice folks and wonderful plants..We came home loaded with good STUFF...I felt guilty taking so much, but so many of you came up and said here take one of these I brought it, and so another plant...You are all great...
Kassia thank you so much for having us all..It was a wonderful spot, and a real GARDENER's TREAT to see the paradise you have so lovenly created.
Liza
Thanks all for sharing pictures.
Everyone is so young and strong.
I had not pictured certain DGer's as they are, oooops that sounds awful,I didn't mean I pictured you as old biddies.
I'll be in real trouble here if I dont just stop where I am.
As it has been stated befor DG'rs looked different than I imagined.
My Friend gabagoo sent me over here so see these beautiful shots.
Kassia what a Garden you have going there.
(of course filled w/ BEAUTIFUL DG'ers but aren't we all! lol!)
Might I suggest you link or post these to the Roundup Pictures Discussion Forum.

That way everyone here at Dave's can enjoy the views.
Thanks for the shots and it looks like it was a Great RU!
Ric
Thanks to everyone for such a great time. So much good food! I cant believe you guys are great at gardening and cooking. Thank goodness my DH is a good cook because I sure am not. It was awesome putting names to the faces of so many of you here and learning so much at the same time.
Melissa
Hi everyone!!!! great time... and it's funny to see my garden from someone else's camera... really interesting...
one thing I know: I could never have a garden that I really enjoy it if it was not for you guys... some of you have really gone the extra mile with me encouraging me to believe I could do it... so yes, please take the credit for helping me...
I am in a very philosophical mood today... if what several people have told me is true, my garden reflexts my personality? well it's scary but at the same time exciting to see how things can and need to change... lol... ok, enough philosophy for today!!!!
Very nice flower shots, Celeste! Nice to see people had a great time.
