Waterfowl air traffic can be quite busy at times, but generally safe, as long as those "BIG birds" don't get in their way.

Canada Geese, Snow Goose, Mallards, Pintail (female, far left), Shoveler (two drakes), and I think probably also Black Duck (one or two). A nice selection!

Thanks, Pelle and thanks Resin for the duck ID's.

rntx22, the only editing to the photo was cropping. So, the original actually had more waterfowl then what you see in this one. This particular photo was taken at Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge on the eastern shore of Maryland, several years ago. When one spends as much time as I do among wildlife habitat and take as many photos as I do, you can come away with photos that are perhaps viewed as unusual, by some. I didn't find this photo that unusual. In early morning, late afternoon and evening it is not unusual for the skies to be filled with all kinds of waterfowl. This is where they winter. All it takes sometimes is to have something frighten them while they are feeding or resting.

I can relate to the following .... many, many years ago. However, I have cleaned up the language considerably !!!!

Nice one! What's 'Krazy' glue??

Thanks, Resin. Here's a link for 'Krazy Glue' .......

http://www.krazyglue.com/

I seem to recall that we had a recent 'Krazy Glue' incident at a Home Depot. A person used their bathroom and unknowingly someone had put glue on the toilet seat. Both toilet seat and person went to the hospital, for seat removal. Ouch !!!!

Here's a link for 'Krazy Glue' ...

Thanks! Seems it's a brand name for superglue (cyanoacrylate glue)

A well-known urban legend. It couldn't happen, as superglue sets too quickly for this to happen. Sorry!!

Brilliant!

Thanks, Resin ........ All I know is that it hit the networks. This link to an article and subsequent interview seems a little bit more than the normal urban legend. Anyway, true or not, just the thought is disturbing ......... just be careful the next time you use a restroom !!!

Yah, the story hit here. Perhaps it was not clear super glue, perhaps it was Hard as Nails! In any event, the paramedics DID have to unbolt the seat! Read the part about them having to rip the seat off!!!! So, clearly someone found a way to make this happen.
