Looks like a Brunner's Stick Mantis... Brunneria borealis.

It's a female...they all are (Parthenogenesis). Our longest native Mantid-up to 7 inches.

Whoops!....too quick on the trigger...didn't look at your location.
As far as I know, Brunner's is not found in India. Your pic is a Mantid however...one of many, many species.
