I desire to prune the conifer shown in the attached picture. Being uneducated on this topic, will someone tell be whether this is a Junifer or a Taxus Yew conifer? I live in zone 5b. Can I prune the shrub now or should I wait till fall, winter, early spring? Thanks.
Difference between Juniper & Taxus
That's a yew Taxus. Juniper has shorter leaves (or often, scale leaves). Yep, it can be pruned now, though it doesn't look necessary to me.
Resin
Thanks Resin for your help. Much appreciated.
