Time for a new thread...wanted to get it started before I go into the panic mode tomorrow because of leaving so many things (trip-wise) to the last minute..Its always a surprise when that last minute shows up and there you are...with nothing done and not much time to do it.. I DID get to the store today and stock up on cat food. Since Nose is taking a higher dose of the thyroid med. and since he is staying inside these days, he is eating like a young horse. I am waiting for him to start gaining weight but I dont think that is happening yet.
DH has been busy all week building a frame across the top of the deck which he covered with the sun screen. I like to put plants on the deck in the summer but with the summers getting hotter, my poor plants have been burning up, so I moved them to the other side of the house partially under the pecan trees. I mentioned it to DH and next thing I know, he is heading down to Hone Depot getting stocked up on lumber and away he went. He just has the finish work left to do..he was painting the 1x4's he will use today. I wish I had just a little of his ambition..
Not much going on here..DD's cat found a nest of baby rabbits and has been bringing them home..yesterday she was finally grounded to the house. One was dead, one got loose and DD got the last one..took it to a friend who has rabbits, she will take care of it (I hope). I think she (Bella, the cat) had been talking to Nose because thats what he was doing before he got grounded...there is a large field behind the houses on the other side of the cul-de-sac and I guess they were out there exploring. Kitties only get into trouble when they are allowed to run the streets..they are so much better being inside cats.
