Good luck with the backsurgery and enjoy the tropicals.

This is Celiosia flamingo feather also in the same bed. I'm trying this also for the first time. Should be a deep pink but it's white. Any ideas what would cause it to be white?

Susan ~ if I remember my pink candles last year, the bloom darkened with age. The purple foliage Celosia grew 4 feet tall for me in a pot last year. Your Amaranthus is quite magnificent.

Christi, I'll try to stop by when I can to help you and Mike out. Is it true that y'all won't be coming to the Houston swap?

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

That's right, TJ. Made me cry. I have really, really been looking forward to a terrific weekend. At the same time I was kind of anxious about the long ride. But after this over....look out, here I come!

Would love to have you and your whole family for a visit. Wouldn't expect you to have to work though. Hope I am able to do things by the time it gets cold. Doc says 3 months. I think he means lifting things. Three fusions right in a row and I will have to learn how to do something a little differently.

Oh, just wish you could see outside my window now.

I'll try to swing by today after work. (~;
