CLOSED: Fuzzy white caterpillar?
This is a larva of a tussock moth (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae), possibly in the genus Dasychira - see http://www.pbase.com/crocodile/image/30974532 for an example.
Suunto:
Bingo! Searched that genus and found dasychira vagans, "variable tussock moth". That's our guy.
