Growbags to wintersow?

Gilmer, TX(Zone 8a)

Hi, I'm doing a co op for growbags, and some are wondering if they can be used for winter sowing. I thought maybe some of you had either used them or had ideas on how to do that.

Here is a link to what they look like if you haven't seen them.

It's possible - Jan would probably have a better idea. (Right at this moment I cannot remember her DG name!!) She used some type of bags this past year inside a Rubbermaid container.

Grampapa - that's her name! She's edited a lot of winter sowing information threads down to a few and those few have become the stickies.

She used clear gusseted ones that let light in-for these I think you would have to leave them open and put them in a clear container...

I used an old aquarium last year. That might work. I just put stuff in and put glass on top. Probably could get more grow bags than pots and milk jugs and stuff, cause they would just sit right next to each other. I've seen those clear rubbermaid things too. Just have to be tall enough.

I think in an aquarium or something, it would be a lot neater and organized!!!
