Found this patch of insect eggs on a potato leaf this morning. I have also found some of what appears to be the same on squash leaves. Does anyone know what they are?
CLOSED: What kind of eggs?
The image is too fuzzy to get a good look, but they do not appear to be potato beetle eggs, which usually are on the underside of leaves, more orangish and more tightly packed (see http://www.entm.purdue.edu/entomology/vegisite/insect_ID_pics/CH5_Potatoes/beetle_eggs.jpg). Also, they are not squash bug eggs, which are more brownish, shiny, and often in loose clusters (see http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1022/812592178_fb38a7020a.jpg?v=0).
