Found this lil guy wandering around my yard this morning. He looks like a orange and yellow striped caterpillar but with lil wings on the side of his head have an "eye" on them.

This is a moth whose wings have not expanded after eclosion. The image is not clear enough to do other than make a guess as to its identity; one possibility is a spiny oakworm moth (Anisota stigma; Lepidoptera: Saturniidae) - see http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1388/808804561_70f2bec935.jpg?v=0 for an image.

Sorry the pic is not that good - when I came in and downloaded I realized it wasn't as clear as I thought and when I went back out to take some more, he had disappeared. but i think you are correct in the id - I have seen several of those around my yard. Thank you!
