A Daddy Long Legs carrying eggs?

Those are not eggs, but parasitic mites, likely in the family Erythraeidae - see http://www.uky.edu/Ag/CritterFiles/casefile/relatives/daddy/daddymites3.jpg

Oh Yuk! I was wondering why I had never seen that before, now I know! Do they "hitch rides" on someone or will they stay on that Daddy Long Legs?

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

They might be one of the Trombidium spp. The adults eat insect eggs, larvae are external parasites of insects, spiders, Harvestmen and scorpions. The larvae are what is in your pic. They will stay on the Harvestman until they are ready to change.
