Also, when you do dig, be really careful because the new tuber is formed lower in the ground each year it is left there.
That 59 is not too high but the fert might be strong; is it granular or soluble? I would go 1/2 the label rate to start, just to be safe.
Konjac tubers probably won't get bigger than your tub, but some Amorphs certainly can! Tubers can be 25 lbs or more in weight.
What kind of Voo Doo lily do I have?
Great, Thanks Lari Ann. I'll use it 1/2 strength.
Me, too, bigbubbles. Thanks for sharing the pic, it is bulbifying! And Thanks Lakesidecallas, lots of plants to see in your pics. The Aethipica Giant White is GORgeous! Going to the PF, now!
Many thanks to all that shared the helpful info. Especially thanks to LariAnn for suggestion on high P. fertilizer for these type of plants.
I also would like to thank Fish_Knees for initiating this thread. I'll share pix in the future for further development on my Konjac.

I hope this pic was taken in the spring, and not now.....'cause mine are starting to "crater" and I'd be very disappointed!
What impressive a flower scape that's!!!
Oh,all of you have me wanting some of these.
Thank you for sharing your pictures & growing tips.
Where can I find these? Thanks.
Hi, I know DG's bwilliams has them at briansbotanicals.net, or org and Tony Avent down in N.C at Plant Delights has a nice selection. I just took some konjacs to the RU or I could have sent some small ones... maybe someone here has some to share.. maybe post over on the Plant Trading forum -B
I have these for sale in the DG Bulbs Rhizomes And Corms Section if anyone is interested.
And this was one of the many blooms I had this spring! It was very big 7.5 feet tall!

Spectacular!
Here's my A. paeonifolius, the extra-large type, of which I have just two. They don't propagate nearly as prolifically as the regular variety, but they do get much, much larger. Note the meter stick for scale and the thickness of the stem. This baby is rooted to the ground and that pot, if it doesn't bust, will be nearly all tuber when the plant goes dormant.
