Here is another example of the new female chasing a fledgling from the nestbox. Taken a few minutes ago.

Oh the malign influence of evil stepmothers! Just like all the old fairy tales!

Precisely what I was thinking!!

Well, I'm not sure how much longer they will be around. I didn't see them this morning before we left for Baltimore. Here are a few I took yesterday.

As you can see, I am using a different dish. Always looking for a new set up.

As you can see, these are in no particular order.

I am still trying to get a good picture of my new female.

Love that new dish Dave. Really classy!

Great shots of the kids and of the adults too. Any idea when the new babies will be born? And how many eggs are there now?

Stafford County, VA

I am up in Baltimore today and we had to leave home before 9:00 a.m., which is when she normally lays an egg. The eggs will hatch 13 days after she lays the last one, so assuming she lays four, which is typical, they should hatch around the 17th or 18th.

We have to hit the road home now so, finally, here are all five of the fledges.

Thanks for the info. I hope they are there in the morning when you get up.
