I've always loved flat blossomed viburnum. Check out this nifty article on them on www.demosnews.com. Hover over 'genre' at upper left, choose 'Home'-->scroll down to 'Sterile Beautiful??'

Who couldn't appreciate these?

The Sargent viburnums here made up for last year's Easter freeze disaster, rebounding with sizeable growth, big flowers, and a bountiful crop of fruit forming for fall.

Yes, Sargent viburnum would be the Asian simile to Viburnum trilobum and Viburnum opulus.
